Flinders Ranges
Always just like a painting, the purple and green colours of the Flinders entices visitors back for more. The Flinders is huge and stretches through outskirts of Broken Hill, Yunta, Hawker and Adelaide regions.

Strzelecki Track
The Stzrelecki Track is strictly the route form Innamincka to Lyndhurst, however our trek note is for travellers starting at Innamincka and travelling down to Arkaroola Village in the heart of the Flinders Rang [Feature Story]

Chowilla Old Coach Road
From forests of large River Red Gums to dense lignum scrublands of the backwaters and billabongs, the Old Coach Road offers everything that you would expect from an outback trip.

Birdsville Track
The Birdsville Track runs south from Birdsville to Maree and passes through the Sturt Stony Desert. It is an extremely remote region but is strikingly beautiful in its harshness.

Wentworth to Renmark via Old Coach Road
Follow the old stock route that was once used by the ‘Overlanders’ who brought the very first stock to Adelaide overland from New South Wales.

Morgan Historic Walk
There are many times when making the most of many scenic or historic places, the best way to see them is to venture out on foot.

Oodnadatta Track
If you’re a history buff you’re going to go nuts crossing the Oodnadatta Track. The track follows the orignal Ghan line from Marla to Oodnadatta and then on to Marree.

Flinders Ranges
The Flinders Ranges is semi-arid, harsh yet beautiful. There are many unique features here including gorges, ramparts and dry creekbeds.

Gammon Ranges Bunyip Chasm
The drive into the Gammon Ranges National Park will reward you with spectacular views of rugged terrain, chasms and deep gorges, towering mountains, tree-lined creeks and freshwater springs.

Dig Tree Circuit
This loop trek from Innamincka will take you on a historic adventure, heading towards The Burke and Wills "Dig Tree", which is one of Australia's national icons and an enduring reminder of our pioneering spirit

Innamincka Memorials and Markers
This trek which lies purely in the Innamincka Regional Reserve follows the memorials, markers and waterholes along Cooper Creek.

Gawler Ranges
This rarely used route is a great alternative to crossing the Eyre Highway from Ceduna through to Port Augusta.

Googs Track
A most adventurous short-cut for those travelling from the west to Coober Pedy & the Alice. Excellent views and plenty of wildlife, featuring memorials dedicated to Goog and Dinger, Goog’s Lake and Mount Finke.

Skytrek
Of all tracks that comprise "The Great 4WD Journeys of the Flinders Ranges", the Skytrek on Willow Springs Station is arguably the most popular.

Robe Beach Run
From Robe in south east SA to Beachport this trek heads south along a wild windswept beach. Challenging beach driving - 4WD essential.

Inside Track
The Inside Track was gazetted as a public road on 16th January 2002 and provides an alternative route that is also 35km shorter than the main Birdsville Track.

Walkers Crossing
Route for driving between Birdsville and Innamincka through the flood plain country of the nothern overlow of the Cooper Creek before rising onto the Sturt Stony Desert on the Birdsville Track.

Cordillo Downs
This is the main route from Innamincka to Birdsville. The track is about 420km and conditions vary greatly.

Bore Track
The Bore Track is an access road for oil company vehicles and for property owners. This track is a great alternative to the wide gravel road of the Strzelecki Track which is more a highway than a track.

Nilpena - A Pinch of Salt
This is one of the few access tracks to the shores of Lake Torrens. It is accessable via Nilpena Station

Coffin Bay
The Coffin Bay penninsula is a large wilderness area, almost surrounded by water, reaching out into Great Australian Bight. It is situated at the southern-most tip of the Eyre Penninusula near Port Lincoln.

Simpson Desert WAA Line
This track is similar to the French Line and although it has smaller dunes, it is very picturesque especially after rain.

Simpson Desert Rig Road
The Rig Road is the most southern access across the Simpson Desert. It is a longer route because it winds along the edge of dunes and crosses at the lowest points.

Simpson Desert French Line
The French Line is the most direct route across the desert and traverses directly across the tops of over 1200 red sand dunes, with Big Red being the major challenge.

Simpson Desert
The Simpson Desert can be crossed via the French Line, WAA line or Rig Road. This trek provides a route using a combination of all 3 routes.

Ngarkat CP - Baan Hill
This trek starts at the town of Keith and journeys north through the magnificent Ngarkat Conservation Park and finishing at Lameroo.

Yorke
The highlight of this trek is the Innes National Park offering great coastal scenery, excellent fishing and surfing, and beautiful protected bays.

Mt Dare to Oodnadatta via Dalhousie
This trek provides an easy opportunity to access Dalhousie Springs, one of the main icons of the Simpson Desert without a significant detour if touring between South Australia and the Red Centre.

Painted Desert
The Painted Desert has to be the highlight of the South Australian Desert experience.

Arkaroola 4WD Loop
The Arkaroola-Mt Painter Wilderness Sanctuary provides some of the most exciting off-road tracks in SA.

Warraweena - Old Angepena Goldfield Track
This unique loop track was established in partnership with four neighbouring landholders: Maynards Well Station, Angepena Station, Pinda Spring Reserve and Narrina Station.

Warraweena - Copper Track
This track connects 3 historic copper mines, Sliding Rock, Nuccaleena and Blinman mine. This is a, not too difficult, ONE WAY drive, along the foothills and creeks of the Flinders Ranges.

Warraweena - Old Coach Road
This track does a 39km loop and takes in Warraweena Private Conservation Park, Maynard’s Well Station and Angepena Station.

Warraweena - Cockatoo Dunbar Loop
Set in the rugged Flinders Ranges on Warraweena Conservation Park this track offers the visitor a good aspect of the flora and fauna of the area with challenging, but safe driving conditions.

Warraweena - Mt Gill
This track on Warraweena Conservation Park is accessible for travel through rugged terrain leading to spectacular vistas. The trek culminates at the top of Mt Gill - 914m above sea level.
